ABOUT THIS SONG

"The Hero Day" portrays the emotional and psychological impact of a mysterious event that causes part of the population to disappear, plunging the world into chaos and despair. The song narrates scenes of pain and confusion, such as a mother in shock over the loss of her child and the unexpected brutality of a man killing a dog. October 14th, the day "of the departed," symbolizes collective trauma, while the enigmatic Guilty Remnants, dressed in white, provoke intense reactions and violence with their disturbing behavior. Amid the confusion, the narrator grapples with his own despair, pleads for reconnection, and watches the world teetering on the brink of collapse.

LYRICS

A child is crying, and his mother is going crazy
The world is falling on her head
But now some silence….
Sam? Please tell me what just happened?

Running in the morning
A black dog stops in front of me
His last breath, his last look
Before the bald man kills him

October 14th, the anniversary
A day to remember, the hero day

I Woke up again with a strange feeling
Was it a dream? Am I getting crazy?
A stone lady with her baby
Tears and sadness for the departed

Almost 50 marching in white clothes
Where did they come from?
What do they want?
It seems that everybody is waiting for a sign to explode

STOP WASTING YOUR BREATH!
STOP WASTING YOUR BREATH!
STOP WASTING YOUR BREATH!
STOP WASTING YOUR BREATH!

They screamed, they fought
Violence over the world
Is it a cult or is it god’s desire?
Blood in the silent faces of the GR

The night fall came and
I need some beer
I am lost, I am desperate
I’m in front of you my love, please come home!

Sam, please tell me what just happened?
Everybody will explode
Violence all over the world
Blood in the faces of the GR
